The Charity shoot was a great success with over €3000 raised from entries to the 15 Bird DTL, 15 Bird ABT, 40 bird Sporting, beginners, Raffle tickets and refreshment takings.
The weather was interesting (most of the elements managed to appear during the day, but it did not rain!). There were plenty of shooting and raffle prizes on offer all donated by the fantastic supporters of the Charity and the Club, a very special thanks to those who gave up their Sunday to help manage the shoot (please see below).

Update 12 Dec 07 - we have been making great progress on sorting out the ranges and last week saw 'tons' of topsoil delivered to level off and improve the '8th' trap area, which doubles as our Compact Sporting set up. Again we apologise to all visitors whilst this work continues as its making a bit of a mess of the access road.
We have cleared space to make 2 new car parks and will use some of this area to have full 100 bird Sporting set ups for events in 2008.
Please note that with effect from Wednesday 5th December we re-start evening practice and continue with every Saturday afternoon. remember we still open 1st Sunday every month for practice.
4th September 2007. The long awaited arrival of our new DTL traps is imminent. With effect from 16th September 2007, 4 new DTL and 4 ABT traps will be ready to go, also our Compact Sporting set up will be ready. Our thanks to the team at Kilkenny County Council for awarding us a grant contributing significantly to the purchase of our new traps.
2nd August 2007. Good luck to the Irish team heading over to the European DTL Championships. Bishops Mountain is proud to sponsor Irelands top Junior, Kevin Purcell.
20th July 2007. Well done to Kevin Purcell and the rest of the Juniors team for brilliant results at this years Home International at Bywell in the UK.
